This year, Hubs asked for an Oreo cake with chocolate frosting.
I could have just frosted it and left it at that, but I decided to take the opportunity to try some Fruit Roll-Up flowers that I pinned ages ago!
So, sorry Hubs, you got a flower cake!
The Fruit Roll-Up flowers were actually quite easy to do, I simply unrolled them and cut out circles with my two littlest circle cutters (if, like me, you can only find Fruit Roll-Ups with “tongue tattoos”, use a damp paper towel to wipe those off first).
Then I simply, used three fingers to fold the circles into a ruffle and stuck them together!
For the Oreo cake, I used 1 recipe of Rich Chocolate cake, and stirred in 2/3 package of crushed Oreo cookies before baking!
